Anurupyena - Two Digit Number

Square Of Two Digit Number Using Anurupyena Method: This method is used to find the square of a number.As we know that in various competitive exam calculations take a lot of time. To avoid this we can use various Vedic Maths Techniques.

Find Square of 34

Step 1: The digit at tens place is assumed as x and the digit at units place is assumed as y

Here x = 3 and y = 4

Step 2: We will find square of y. Then the unit place of Result 1 is the unit place of the answer and the remaining are the Carry.

Result 1 = square of y = square of 4 = 16

Answer = 6

Carry = 1

Step 3: Now we will multiply x with y then double the result. We will then add the carry and the unit place of Result 2 is prefixed in the answer and the remaining are the carry

Result 2 = 2 X x X y  + Carry = 2 X 3 X 4 + 1 = 25

Answer = 56

Carry = 2

Step 4: We will find square of x. Then we will add the Carry. The Result 3 is prefixed to the answer.

Result 3 = square of x + Carry = square of 3 + 2 = 9 + 2 = 11

Answer: 1156
